2010 Clone Wars Battle Packs: ARC Troopers

My thoughts on the 2010 battle pack, ARC Troopers. (For Rex i'm just copying what I said in a different review of him)

Captain Fordo (ARC Trooper Commander): While the character Fordo, from the '03' Clone Wars series, was an epic character, the figure is anything but. I still don't get why they included him in this pack as this is the '08' Clone Wars. The thing around his neck (Kama?) looks like it had just random blobs of paint sloshed on. The same goes for the helmet so I am disapointed in this figure. Comes with a new type of pistol.

ARC Trooper (Red): A very good new figure! I really like this one. This is the concept version of Commander Colt, the ARC Commander from the Season 3 premiere episodes. It is not accurate to the Colt we see in "Clone Cadets" and "ARC Troopers" but it is accurate to the concept design and it is a good start for collecting ARC Troopers. A great figure and not one to miss out on! Comes with two DC-17 pistols.

ARC Trooper (Blue): By far and away my favourite figure from this pack! It's similar to the other ARC Trooper in this battle pack and it appeared in the same episodes and was killed defending Kamino. Unlike the concept design of the other ARC, this one is accurate to his look in the Season 3 premiere and I really love the detail on both the helmet and the kama. Also a great figure and definitly a worthy addition. Comes with two DC-17 pistols.

Captain Rex: One of my least favourite Clones released... The helmet is too squishy and soft, Rex's head doesn't look right and he looks very stupid. Only thing that saves this figure is the excellent work on the detail and printing on his helmet and body armour. Overall when the next Captain Rex figure comes out I hope that they work on seriously improving the entire figure...
I give this pack 3/5. The fact that Fordo just has paint sloshed wildly on parts of him and Rex is in this pack ruins what could have been the ultimate pack but it is still a worthy collection!
